Poisson au Coco a la Malgache
  • 2 kg Fish (Tilapia or redfish (German: Rotbarsch)
  • 1 tin cocosnut milk
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 20 g ginger
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • curcuma (turmeric)

Put the tomatoes for short time in hot Water and remove the skin. Then cut them into small pieces. The onion should also be cutted into small pieces. Use a garlic press for the Ginger and Garlic.

Warm up the Oel and saute the fish. Put the vegetables in and stir-fry them with medium heat, until the onions getting light brown. Mix in the cocosnut milk and let it cook with weak heat. To the end put the curcuma in and as much pepper and salt as you like.

Serve it with rice.
